(CMC) Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose

CMC (Sodium Carboxymethyl cellulose) is an anionic water-soluble polymer derived from cellulose by etherification, substituting the hydroxyl groups with carboxymethyl groups on the cellulose chain.

Being readily dissolved in hot or cold water, CMC is produced in different chemical and physical properties. We do offer both purified and technical CMC grades and tailor-made solutions for our valuable customers.

Thanks to thickening, binding, stabilizing, suspending, film forming and gelling functions, CMC works as a flow control agent and as a rheology modifier which makes it suitable for use in various industries such as food & beverage, drilling, mining, construction, paper, detergent, paint, textile, pharma, personal care and in many other special applications.
