Our Energy Policy
With the mission of “We add value to life with chemistry”, as Akkim Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. Energy Management System aims to continuously improve its energy performance directly with all national and international regulations and to make it sustainable both environmentally and economically.
In order to achieve this goal, Akkim Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S undertakes;
- To use the existing energy and natural resources in the most efficient way in all processes with the full participation and support of the employees and senior managment, ensuring the efficient use of energy without interfering with the ergonomic working conditions and managing the energy activities in parallel to the sustainability goal,
- To integrate the energy management system into the corporate management applications, quality, environment and occupational health and safety management systems and continuously reviewing and improving it,
- To ensure that energy-efficient products, equipment and services are purchased, energy-efficient choices are made in design issues to prevent energy consumption and to improve energy performance,
- To investigate, implement and maintain greenhouse gas emission reduction methods with the lowest environmental impact approach, to establish systems in accordance with this purpose,
- To comply with national and international legislation and laws, regulations and mandatory standards,
- To establish the effective communication with all stakeholders in order to create common values and beneficial results in Energy Management related issues,
- To provide the necessary resources and necessary infrastructure, primarily for the employees, throughout our organization by following technological developments in order to increase energy efficiency and sustainability.
